Each new member receives a complimentary copy of our most requested resource book, Handbell & Handchime Notation, an indispensable guide to the most current notation used in handbell music. Members also receive special discounts on all other AGEHR resource books.
Overtones

AGEHR National Endowment Fund, Scholarships and Awards
The AGEHR Endowment Fund’s objective is to encourage innovation and support creative projects. Additional award opportunities include the AGEHR National Exemplary Handbell/Handchime awards and several event-based scholarships.

Area Newsletters and Websites
Stay up-to-date with workshops and events in your geographic region. Through the national website, you can browse each area’s website to learn more about the people and events near you.
Local Area Festival/Conferences
We offer outstanding nationally recognized clinicians, massed ringing, classes, concerts by bronze-level choirs, networking with fellow handbell/handchime enthusiasts, and shopping at Handbell Industry Council vendor exhibits. There are also festivals geared specifically for young ringers. You will leave each event with greater knowledge, improved ringing and directing skills, and a level of enthusiasm that will last until you attend your next festival.
Mentors
With education a major focus of AGEHR’s mission, mentors are available in many areas to work with beginning directors.
Lending Libraries
Many Areas have lending libraries for access to handbell videos, CDs, and resource books.
Scholarships
Scholarships are available for Area and National events to provide continuing education opportunities for directors and ringers.
Chime Loan Programs
This program is available to schools, churches, and other organizations interested in learning about and teaching handchimes.
