What Are Sponsored/Endorsed Events?
Sponsored Eventsare educational events conducted by one of the twelve regional Areas of the Guild or a subsection of the Guild.
Endorsed Eventsare educational events conducted by non-profit groups (i.e., churches, schools, community groups) who are members of the Guild.
Please see the Updated Sponsored/Endorsed Event Packet for complete criteria. Note: If you are a member of HIC, please refer to the AGEHR/HIC Partnership Agreement for information on developing a partnership with AGEHR. HIC members cannot apply for AGEHR Endorsed or Area Sponsored status.
What are the benefits of Endorsed or Sponsored status for our event?
Benefits may include liability insurance, borrowed equipment insurance, site insurance, employee/volunteer dishonesty insurance, performance royalties, mechanical royalties, advertising, and mailing labels. What's changed in the updated packet?There is now just one form for both Sponsored and Endorsed events with a description of each included on the form. The applicant need only check the box by the appropriate category. This form is an interactive PDF format and can be completed and saved on your computer. The form can then either be emailed as an attachment or printed and faxed or mailed the traditional way.
This new form also includes more information about the difference between sponsored and endorsed events, basic information about insurance coverage, and explanations and instructions on the budget and financial results pages.
Also, while the deadline for attendance numbers is still 30 days following the event, AGEHR has extended the deadline for final financial results to 90 days following the event.
